Meet Our Producer - Chris Mills is at the helm for our autumn performance. Here's what he has to say about 'Aladdin Doesn't Go Quite As Planned': "I've been wanting to put on another family entertainment ever since the much-missed David Carter (to whom this production is dedicated) cast me in Wind in the Willows back in 2013. Aladdin has always been my favourite panto but, having read about 30 different versions, I just couldn’t work out how to translate them to the Stewkley stage in a way that I thought worked for us. So I decided to write my own!
How else could I combine all my favourite bad jokes, 70s music, Dads Army, a collapsing set, a flying carpet and a dancing tiger!
I hope everyone has as much fun with this show as I have had putting it together. If not, there’s only me to blame!
