Stewkley Players final summer social evening saw members meet up to discuss the works of Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters.
It is back to business this week - our annual general meeting takes place at Stewkley Village Hall on Friday September 4 at 8pm.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the group or being involved with our next production is welcome.

The slopes of the lawn at our host venue provided an additional fun challenge for croquet players!

Over the summer months Stewkley Players members take part in numerous social events, such as this week's Theme Evening, where the topic was Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Contributions included Scottish shortbread to sample, a rendition of a song taught in schools in Scotland, and a bit about Scotland at the World Cup

Sending best wishes for a great opening night to our fellow local thespians Winslow Players who are beginning their three night run of Daisy Pulls It Off tonight. Break a leg!

Stewkley Players annual litter pick, an activity the group have completed for more than 50 years, took place on April 13.
Group members started at the Dean Road crossroads and headed out of the village towards Pig and Whistle Corner (near the Drayton Parslow turn).
Among the rubbish collected were more than 100 empty wine bottles and a microwave.
