During the Summer break, the group is involved in a number of different social and village activities. All are voluntary.
-
Litter blitz – usually the first Monday after the Spring Settling Up meeting between 6pm and 8pm – litter picking on the Mursley Road.
-
Village hall fruit and flower fete – the Players run the bottle stall tombola. All Players are encouraged to contribute bottles for the stall.
-
Players BBQ – hosted by a Player in their garden (or house if wet or cold).
-
Monthly theme evenings on the 3rd Monday of the month during May, June and August. Usually held at a Players home. A theme is decided by the host and participants can read, sing or act to entertain the assembled group. This can also include showing a DVD recording of the last production, if available.
-
Occasional trips to the theatre (local and London) are organized.
